North America: Physical Geography

Today we started our unit on North America, with the first week being spent on the physical geography of the region.

I gave each of you a handout from HowStuffWorks.com (or on Scribd.com) about North America, which we spent the entire period reading.

Assignment:

Read through the handout and using your skills as great studiers, reduce the six pages down to a one page typed study guide of information.

The guidelines for the assignment are as follows:

  1. Page: A4, only the front
  2. Margins: 0.5 on all sides
  3. Font: either Times New Roman or Calibri, size 11
  4. Spacing: single spaced
  5. General rule: You only have a small amount of space (one page) so use it wisely

Due: Friday, August 29, 2008

Documents:

Geography of North America

Read Me:

If I were doing this assignment, I would team up with several other students and split up the pages so that each person only did one or two pages, instead of all six. I would be especially willing to help those that struggle with the class. But that’s just what I would do.
